Picked Up My Prius V At Noon Today!

    Picked up my Prius V w/ nav, classic silver w/ dark gray interior today.

    It had 2 miles on the odometer. I had the following customizations done:
    -Wireless remote unlocking operation—customized setting of “all doors unlocked in 1-stepâ€
     -Unlocking using a key—customized setting of “all doors unlocked in 1-stepâ€
     -Reverse warning buzzer—customized setting of “beeps onceâ€
     -Seat belt reminder—customized setting of “OFFâ€

    And I had them delete the "front license plate bracket install." :)

    On the 25 mile drive home (mostly highway) was very happy with the car. I'll provide some driving impressions after I've had a bit more time behind the wheel.

    Toyota Sunnyvale was a pleasure to deal with. David Coleman is a true professional--I highly recommend him (408-716-1863). Tell him the guy he delivered his first 2010 Prius to sent you.

    Thanks to this fantastic community--with special thanks to Prius Team and Jabber--for all the info and assistance. I was on the waiting list for a year, but it seems well worth the wait.

    Now I have to go play with my newest toy. :D

    You'll be out there for a few hours at least getting phone books uploaded, phones paired, NAV settings tweaked, etc.

    I left the settings @ default except what I could change, and the PAX seatbelt reminder has come in handy for my less than diligent passengers.

    Did you go into the dealer and order your prius direct from them? I am looking at purchasing one of the new 2010 models later this year, but they arent available in north Texas right now. Have you heard when they will be available in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas? Thanks

    Even the "Official 2010 Prius Owners Pics" sticky is light on actual...pictures. ;)

    Congrats!! Color is beautiful and the pics came out really nice. Toyota really did a nice job on this next gen Prius. As an aside, has anyone scene the new C & D for July? They did a comparo and I was surprised that they chose the Insight over the Prius. Regardless, I still LOVE my '04 and intend to run it to the ground before I get the next gen Prius. Hey,,, it may be a gen iv!!! Once again...Congrats!!!

    I didn't know Car & Driver had done a review of the 2010 Prius. It isn't available on their website yet.
