ok guys... I decided to stick with it. I drove an 08 Camry rental last year.. And it was boaty feelin in town, but good on the highway.

I guess I can live without the sporty ride for a while until Gen IV arrives!

Now... I have a V on order.. I cannot live without a moonroof. 1st goal will be to head over to the Webasto factory and get something custom fitted! But that is going to be a while since my dealer says December til my car arrives.

What color are you looking for? Where are you located? My preferred dealer has a Pkg V Winter Gray w/Misty Gray w/Nav, carpet floor mats, rear applique sitting on his lot right now. I could put you in touch if you don't want to wait till December ... heck, I would maybe even arrange a ride for you from the airport to the dealership.

I will miss the auto wipers on my BMW. They had to be activated but they they would vary by speed, and with a much wider range than simple intermittent wipers do. In fact, if it stops raining they stop running, and if a semi blows by and sprays your windshield then they kick on once to wipe it. It's just an extra though, and I love Prius driving, and the feeling it awards me. So, it is a sacrifice I'm more than willing to make. :)

Yep, MUCH less mileage. In looking at Car Model Review - Consumer Reports (you'll need a subscription to see this, CR got from 25 to 30 mpg overall on the Mazda3 depending on the engine and transmission. They Mazdaspeed got version 24 mpg overall.

Compare that w/44 mpg overall on the 04 to 09 Prius at Most fuel-efficient cars.
