I'm trading in the 2002 for the 2010. The car came "earlier" than expected, and since the delivery "party", etc. wasn't supposed to happen until Tuesday (pictures of all 3, etc.), I'm hanging on to the 2002 until then. Will give me a chance to arrange for a better photo op in the morning w/ all 3 cars lined up, etc.

This is EXACTLY what I have on order. Do you have any pics from the rear? and possibly from the driver door open? Thanks and Congrats!

All 3 got lined up for me this evening, but it was too dark for a photo. So, you'll get that prize.

I did however run into another 2010 owner already. And it was the ideal conditions for photos then. Those will be available soon.

Perfect, Rick, those are great night shots of the foot lighting and the LED spotlight.

Congratulations on your purdy car. I think the solar roof makes a huge difference. It gives the car a much sportier (manlier, even) look.

Sweet photos, Rick! I love the last one. It really gives the shifter a nice sophisticated look.

As promised, here's a photo of all three. I've added pics of all three to the 2010 Delivery album link in my sig. I'll be taking more "professional" looking photos on Tuesday when the dealer has all of the cars washed and/or detailed. The 2002 and 2004 are a bit dirty here :-(.

    Photos attached.

Thanks, I think my neighbors thought I was a bit nuts lining up the cars like this. Fortunately the street's pretty wide at the curve which made for decent parking. Not enough drivers to get them somewhere better for now.

Love your pics HTML! So nice to see all 3 together, it really shows the progression the Prius has taken for the better. The 2010 looks quite a bit bigger than the other two, nice!

    Rick, you rock.
    Thanks for showing all three!
One thing I noticed, is that the body styling on the Gen III is actually closer to the Gen I. Perhaps Toyota noticed that their original style had a better co-efficient of drag? Anyway, I think you did a great job getting shots of them. :)

And your neighbors are just jealous. Really. I know I am ;)

The lights ... maybe (but I don't think so).

Body styling ... you might be the only person in the world who thinks that.

Here's a dumb question. Do I have to resize my image before posting or just attatch the image?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the pics, Rick! I love #4 and #8.

Maybe Rae sees the Hoffmeister kink (which is steeper on the Gen III) or less obvious, the headlights and the two character lines from the emblem.

    It should automatically resize.

It used to be (I think it still is):

    1. To attach a photo as a thumbnail that one clicks to see in full size, you have to resize the photo yourself if the photo exceeds the PriusChat size limits.

    2. To upload a photo to a Photo Album you've created or are creating on PriusChat, the PriusChat software will resize the photo automatically. Then to insert a Photo Album photo into a post, just copy the photo's BB Code and paste it into the post.
