I've been trying to deal with Fort Myers Toyota and was having a hard time dealing with the sales manager. there were no cars to test drive and they were only getting in pkg 5 cars and offering ridiculously high interest rates (my rating is 766 and i should darn well get a great rate!). There out the door cash price with leather and pkg 5 was 33,500. this friday i called Germain Toyota in Naples and was told they had an unsold pkg 6 coming off the truck that night and to be there 1st thing in the AM ... which i did and found a gorgeous Pearl Blue Pkg 6 with the nice dash and cloth (i prefer cloth) seats. after a nice long test drive and dealing with a VERY nice sales person we setteled on 33,500 out the door for this car and i drove it away a few hours later. i realize i was at the right place at the right time but i think the dealer made a great difference in my purchase. there was such a HUGE difference in attitude between fort myers and naples ... i'll never go back to my local dealer!

Jazzfinger... I'f you're happy with your car and you've got the bucks...good for you! Welcome to the club! You're going to love driving this car. I've had mine for 3 weeks and am just thrilled with it! My budget is limited, and I barely scraped up the 22K to get mine (basic package, side curtain airbags). I paid M.S.R.P. and got a decent price for my trade. 33.5 seems like an awful lot to me, but like I said, if it's got what you want and they treated you right...then you're a satisfied customer! I've read in different articles that customer satisfaction with the CAR and customer satisfaction with the DEALER are two entirely different things. I think Toyota rates very high with car satisfaction and just SO-SO with dealer satisfation. Anyway...just my two cents worth. Enjoy your new car! Oh what a feeling!!!!!!!!!!!!1
