It looks like the Kentucky Highway has docked! The Priori have landed! Our ship has come in! :cheer2:
Now that it is in port, any general idea how long before dealerships in the local area right around Newark could take to see vehicles arrive? Do they have day, evening and night crews that just keep unloading vehicles and performing port installed options and as they fill up carrier trucks they leave for dealerships?
I had to go out so I didn't get to see it dock at the port. But for certain they are unloading the cars as we speak. I don't know how long they will work unloading the cars but I think they will start processing all the paperwork tomorrow. Window stickers etc... Also some cars will need port installed options I hope they get then on the carriers for delivery by Tuesday. I'd like to be able to pick up my car Thursday.
Does all of the dealers who have cars on this ship, have a printout of the cars that they will receive?
My dealer says she is only getting 1 car and it's not the one I want. What time frame are we looking at for another shipment? I don't know if I can wait too much longer.:frusty: Thanks FRED
Jabber says 18 cars on the ship. Mighty big ship to hold 18 cars - I think they dropped some in the Panama Canal! - and a sad few to spread around the the whole northeast. Dis is torcha!
I agree!!! I just got a confirmation from my dealer that the car I wanted is NOT on the ship. She said there is a Blizzard White package 4. Sadly this is nothing even close to what I want. Looks like I will be following another ship threw the canal.
Indiana Highway is still out at sea. Conflicting data on where it's headed. SET is expecting a shipment around June 17. Same ship? Need some new dealer info. I only counted 450 Prius off loaded at Jacksonville. About what GST got by train. Have 3 ships headed back to Japan. 2 more about to go back. Plus the Kentucky and Indiana.
Thanks James! Please try and keep us from slipping into despair. I know somewhere out there is a ship with our cars on them.
It appears that in CAT, where you and we are located, that on this first vessel there were ~125 vehicles for 150+ stores. The most that any store received was 2 units. Most got one! It now appears that there are 1100+ units right behind this vessel - for CAT alone. The vessels to the Port of NY supply Boston / NY-NJ / CAT. The one vehicle we are receiving doesn't match any order we have..Duhh!!
For those of us who have not yet ordered, and as you have not yet matched that car to any existing order, ... Would you like to let folks know what it is? (Trim Level, etc..) You may have a buyer lurking on this forum.
From what I'm told internally 'right behind' means several days or a week right behind the KY Highway at the port of NY. Right Behind...
