Oh, they've changed their minds, and now DH can come with me. How? Um, I do not know, to be honest. I got a phone call, asking for my email address. Oh, they did say that our local dealer had referred me. Maybe you can call your local Toyota dealer and ask about it.
Why wouldn't they want you to bring your DH? If they are trying to sell you a car, wouldn't they want both of you there? I know the timeshare sales scams always require both husband and wife because you could use the excuse that you need to talk it over with your SO and that would let you escape without buying anything. :twitch:
I am going to the June 16 meeting in Portland. If the dealer that sold me my 2007 referred me in hopes of selling a 2010, they will be dissapointed to learn I already got one from a different local dealer.
Well, they did say that this is NOT a sales event... it is merely an informational thing. Maybe they'll have the coveted Prius water bottles? We will see if we can make it. It all depends on DH's work schedule.
Ah. No. My job vanished in February. We are now a single-income family. The only way we could have swung the 2010 would have been if we'd have sold Rudy, and he's just too new to really justify a trade-in. Besides, he's like one of the family!
