How far are you willing to fly?

Well, So. Cal seems to have plenty. I went for a test drive and drove one off the lot. If you want a #6 it's easy to get the color you like, that's the most abundant package.

The silver #6 are the easiest to find.

And none of the local dealers have marked up over MSRP.

If you go to cars.direct or one of those online sites use zipcode 92111 for San Diego. That should list dealers in the area.

Don't bother with San Diego Toyota.

Mossy Nissan and El Cajon Toyota allow you to check inventory online.

I bought mine at Kearny Mesa Toyota. The internet salemanager there is Howard Sheehy. Contact him through e-mail about a #6 and what colors are available. He'll treat you well. Tell him Mary in the Black Prius referred you.

The drive back to Michigan will be long, but you'll enjoy it.

Did you see my post about the one that was available in Laredo TX? It was three days ago now so likely gone.

I feel your pain! :) I am just about in the same boat. Local dealers are out. I'm finding the models I want elsewhere but it is the whole flying, buying, driving thing that I don't have time for...
Is there any way to deliver a vehicle that won't break the bank? I would assume so since cars are bought and sold every day online... Dealerships give you (me) the dear-in-the-headlights look when I inquire about picking a car up from out of the region...

How about a pkg#5 and add leather aftermarket. Am told it's cheaper and you have better choices of leather. This info is in many threads and different sites.
I think Longo Toyota in El Monte Calif has 20+ pkg 5 or 6.
Do NOT think you have to pay more than INVOICE price--check threads.
