sales manager john at antwerpen said "lol wut?" when i just called about this rumor - he doesn't know when they are even coming
Just wrote a check 2 hours ago for my car which is still on the INDIANA HIGHWAY. Total cost, DMV, tax, extras etc was $31,980.40. Car + accessories was $28,978.00. Prius IV with Nav package, grey with misty grey interior. Port added security system, rear bumber aplique and floor mats. I didn't particulary want the security system but it could have been worse.
Call it what you want but it's the price you pay for being an early adopter. Besides, this is a GREAT deal compared to spending $60K two years ago on my 2007 E-Class BlueTec Benz!
My my, what did I say that made you so mad? Read my post again!!!! I believe you read it wrong, that is if you can read! I said, I don't mind telling what I paid for the car. How is that being a D^$%?
I agree! I love diesels! In fact, I own a 2007 BlueTec and a 99 E300 TD, which is a CLASSIC car. Very fast and has lots of ooomph! In fact, she now has 155K miles on her and she is just broken in. I will never part with that car!
Ordered basic 2010 Prius II* (MSRP), Blue ext. w/ beige int., all weather floor mats (5 @ $185), rear bumper protection ($69) & title/doc./registration fees - 4 years? ($252), totaling $23256 - no sales tax in Oregon, just pot holes, etc.! Estimated arrival time is 8 weeks w/o dealer trade. I'm wondering if/when those of you w/ dealer financing were able to lock in a financing interest rate? Dealer told me that they need a vin number before they can write up the final paperwork; worried that interest rates may esculate in 8 weeks! When is the dealer privy to vin #? *We are modern tech ignorant: no cell phone, iPod, etc..
