I'm curious about the color of the package V LED lights. Supposedly they are low beam only with the high beams being standard (old school) halogens. I read someplace that the color of the LED's tends more toward the blue of HID. If that's the case then wouldn't the color change from bluish to yellow when switching between low and high beams? If anyone has actually taken possession if a package V I'd be really interested in hearing how the headlights compare to the gen II HID's
Even better, if someone has seen the headlights of a V, and can post pictures of it, both in daylight (with the lights on) and in a darker shot, showing the illumination, I would be grateful.
Perfect! That picture clearly does show the difference in color that I was wondering about. Now all I need is someone to comment on how well they new LED/Halogen combination stacks up to the gen II HID's in actual driving. Probably have to wait a bit though, since it appears nobody here has a package V yet.

when my parents had their rx hybrid ( HID low with halogen highs ) it went from a crisp nice low beam to daylight with the brights on. i found that even though the halogens were lighthouse beacons shining on forever, the cool crisp low-beams were easy to adjust to after... it also helps that the LED's will function like the rx, in that high and lows stay on. ( as shown in the pics above)
