I cannot believe it is really here. Got it with 7 miles on it. VIN ending 474 (474th produced?) Tires are the Yokohama AVIDs.
Ya, that would be 474th produced. You're possibly getting a prototype lol. The one in Detroit was 1023.
Congratulations!!! How do you like it so far? What's your opinion on the solar sunroof? I guess it's not that hot up in WA to try it out yet...
Great car and great pic. Do you mind if I borrow your pic and repost it over at a certain GM site in order to start a war. John will understand...
It was a beautiful day today in Oregon and Washington as I drove home from the dealership in Beaverton OR. Left the dealer's lot at 5 PM with sunroof open and it was bumper to bumper traffic on Murray Rd to HWY 26. I normally don't go this way. On the highway, I got up to 62 and the car rides much smoother and quieter. With sunroof open, there is not much wind noise. Crossed over the Columbia into Washington and up Highway 14 with Mt. Hoot to view and enjoy as I drove toward the Columbia River Gorge. So far, I like most everything about it.
Well I guess, but the Prius is all about love, not war. I think for my photo, I should have had someone else take the picture and I could have been hugging one of those trees in the background.
Wow!! Looks great. Do you have the Bisque Leather interior? Is it true that the interior posts and above are all a grey color as opposed to a match for the bisque?
Yes, I have the Bisque Leather and it is real soft. The Bisque goes ut all the window pillars and headliner is Bisque. Everything is Bisque except for the top of dahs, steering wheel and floor matts. I like it. Top glove box is not realy pale looking. Something weird with the flash as it was already dark out.
Thanks, Larry!! I'm very glad to get this news from you. Do you know where yours was built? The last seven of the VIN starts with either a 1 or a 2, thus identifying which plant. The rest of the numbers are the build order (mine is . . . 1001895).
Based on this THREAD, its a 1 or a 5, where 1=Toyota Tsutsumi plant, and 5=Toyota Autobody Fujimatsu plant.
You talkin' ta me? You talkin' ta ME? How about next weekend? (Not Memorial Day weekend -- I only get the car on Tuesday.) Need directions? Again?
Nice backdrop choice! I had a lot of fun in the PNW when I was out there. Gorgeous area; well, perhaps modulo all the clearcutting patchwork, but whatever. Already jonesing to go back. . Since you've got some good hills available, hopefully you can offer some good observations on regen, the "hybrid system indicator", etc etc... . _H*
After watching the TEAM in action, I think I could install an EBH. Maybe not quite so artistically. If you plan another round the country trip though, I wouldn't complain. Larry
