What a great vanity plate, enV, hmmm..... It has been a long day and I am going to go nest with the car. I cant wait to hear other success stories with this car. Just remember to be informed, dont pay over msrp and dont let anyone add on items you do not need. UNLESS, it is a sunroof
Thanks for posting the pics. The car looks fantastic! I'm looking forward to the near future where everyone will be posting pics of their new gen3s!
Good catch, Sandy!! Good morning, Julie. Now, get that profile updated so there is no doubt which side of the line you're now on!
In case you can't tell, we're all drooling over our keyboards. (I'm whispering because I don't want Princess Fiona to hear me, or she'll pick up a nail in a tire again just for spite.)
I tried to change my profile but it does not give the option of owning the car, still says on order. Danny, help please Also, the manual comes with a cd to watch but havent had a chance. Thx! I did apply for a vanity plate. Fun, 2Fun and fun car. I really wanted to get this one but I use the car for my work and they would frown upon it: BQQBS
Awesome Julie - really! It's amazing how sporty the car looks and I love your description of the ride - it's exactly what I was hoping for!! Mazeltov and happy driving!
Hey Julie any word on the solar cooling? Not sure what the temps are up there with you, guessing still fairly cool. Does it make any noise at all? I remember reading another thread where someone was wondering the same question.
WoW Great Job Julie!! :cheer2: We are waiting for ours here in New York.... I guess a bit longer. Please share your experiences with your new ride with us!
It's great that you got your Prius. I just signed the papers to lease the first Prius in SF, but it won't be here till early June. I'm getting the base model in Silver w/ Bluetooth and no other options for the lease price of $2000 down and $387/month. Is that a decent price? I'm leasing 'cause I really want the plug-in once it comes out. We have solar PV on our roof and it'll feel good to kind of be powering our own ride.
It was 80 plus here yesterday and the car did sit in the sun while we went and got something to eat. I am not sure I turned the fans on correctly because I didnt have time to research how. I will keep you posted. One thing I noticed, is that on the back passenger doors, there is a weird triangle that looks like a sticker on the bottom of the door which is painted the same color as the car. Need to find out if that is right or if it is something they forgot to remove. I am thinking it is extra protection if you open the car door so as not to ding it and scratch it. Anyone know????
Happy Birthday F8L by the way! Will watch cd tomight and report back. Dealer was fantastic, no pressure whatsoever on adding anything. Did not do the warranty, didnt push it. Paid MSRP then $200 for mats but was ok with that since this was the first car sold in North America it looks like Today I know another person getting hers in Oregon so there will be more posts I am sure from her. My dealer also had a package 2 in red. I think someone from here told this guy because he called my dealer from Vegas and I believe he bought it.
I wouldn't think a loan would be much more than that. $24,000 with $2K down at 5% for 5 years is $415/mo. In three years the payoff would be $9500. I would think you'd build equity in the car if you planned on keeping it 3 years. I wouldn't think you'd have a hard time selling it either. Of course if your $387 is for 2 years or if includes personal property taxes and other fees then that's a consideration.
