Is my PRIUS ready for rear cam install?

    :welcome:Hello everybody!!! I`m very happy to post my first thread. Sorry for my English, I`m from far BULGARIA(SE Europe). I have a couple of question. My PRIUS is EU, maybe it is 90% similar like Americans. I have not installed rear camera, but i want to have. My 1st and main question is - is my prius pre-ready to install cam, cause when i examined under the rear hood, i saw some cables and jack which seemed to be no in use. I can apply some photos tomorow. Other question is - is my PRIUS 7inch monitor have ready out for camera, cause my model has not navigation and other extras. I have only 4 buttons arround display - Climate and Music, other side - Info and Display. Last question - Is anybody PRIUS owner has mount blitz lights? I want to install for example in my taillights - when i push the brake - and blitz like a police car for example. Many thanks in advance. Best Reagrds - Mladen Dimitrov:welcome:

    I do not have navigation, I have the same 4 buttons on each side of the display, my Prius came with the camera. Hope this helps you.

    I can check with service for you, but I would have to think that the display has the ability to display the back up camera. Should just be plug and play if you get the factory parts.

    As far as blitz lights, I don't know what those are.

    And your english is just fine. Better than some of the kids on other forums, that is for sure :D

    About the Blitz lights, i`m not sure about name - watch next video and you shall see:
    mhh i cant post URL - if you search in YouTube my indonesian Unmarked police car (3) - and you see at 54 sec how its tail lights flashing
