    Lower the number the darker the tint. 5% = 5% transparency :) i.e. Limo tint

    In California you can do whatever you want on the windows rear of the driver but to the left and right of the driver they cannot be less than 78% or so.

    I know how tint ratings work, the number is the percentage of light transmitted. Sorry I thought the law would be similar to here where the limit is 35% on rear windows, behind the front row of seats and 75% beside the front row, and no tint on the window.
    5%, you may as well paint the windows black.

    Gotcha! I didn't realize it was more strict down there compared to California. We usually have the most strict regulations and most othr states are more relaxed. :)

    The majority of tint jobs in my area are 5% on the back half of the car at least. Some people try to roll around with 5% all around. You're just begging for trouble that way IMO.

    It's based on a DJ theme so I'm not really sure how I could avoid "ricey" and keep the theme.

    Yep, I keep tabs on making sure police won't bug me on any mods :)

    Nice mods the exterior lights give a very unique look. Those rims look wicked, good choice.

    hey Xenthric,

    How did you do the lights in the front grill and where did you tap the power from? I did something like that to my old car but I wasnt as nervous than as it was paid off.

    Good effort on the mods man. I show my other car at HIN and it's a bit Ricey for my tastes. But that is well an truly overshadowed by the fact that you are Modding your car. Thumbs up to that. Cheers!

    I have added those mods myself but with dark brown simulated Ultrasuede. Check out my picture album. If your know someone who can embroider, may want to add a design:D

    I used a four bar flexible underglow kit and used the two long bars on the sides of the car and instead of using the shorter bars on the front and back I just opted to put them in the grill. A lot of LED underglow kits come in flexible tubes now so you basically just bend them how you want and zip tie them inside the grill or use a bracket to hold them, up to you.

    Most kits will also come with details on where and how to hook them up for power. The fact that it is a Prius can make it a little more time consuming. For example with the HIDs we had to remove the front bumper to install them, however, that doesn't necessarily make it more complicated, just time consuming.

    I used a brand called Vision X for the lights. . .
