I did a little bit of searching but couldn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone have a photo of the "Misty Gray' Interior. NOT LEATHER. I'm really interested in the 2010 in Blue Ribbon, but still deciding on interior color. Thanks!
You cannot get a Misty Gray interior, whether leather or fabric, with a Blue Ribbon exterior. Don't think I've ever seen the Misty Gray fabric interior. In any event, here's a scan of the color chart from the 2010 Prius print brochure (open up and maximize the thumbnail for the best picture):
Yeah but I think that's the leather, he wanted to see the cloth misty grey. I think it's leather, that car has navi with the LKA etc... Only pics I have are of the leather since that was all they had at the priority events... The cloth they had there was the bisque.
Above photo is definitely leather. I think, but am not certain, that this photo is of Misty Gray fabric:
Sorry, Tom - but in the original 2000 * 3000 pixel resolution of my photo you clearly see it's fabric, not leather, and the interior you just posted is definitely Dark Grey, not Misty Grey. @Paradox: Judging the interior materials by the US-spec equipment details may not the very best thing to do - even the official Toyota photos show equipment features that are not normally compatible.
I hear you regarding comparing US versus EU. In your photo, besides it looking like leather in low resolution and besides the Navigation screen Paradox mentioned (though it is available with US models with fabric interior), your EU steering wheel is different -- it looks like a leather covered wheel because I think I see stitching. In the US, the leather covered wheel only comes with the leather interior (compare the wheel in my photo of the fabric interior).
Tom, Sorry - you're right: I tried to zoom in on the various hi-resolution photos I have, and yes - the Misty Grey ones are indeed leather. Quite more fancy than I had imagined, as the center section is perforated, as on my current Lexus RX400h . This baby is getting sooo much valuable features from the "premium" brand - water-repelling front door glass, LED headlights and so on :cheer2:. And then some, like the Solar Roof, that you can't get on a Lexus.
Sweet!!! And it has the same two-toned theme (black center console, door accents, etc.) that the leather Misty Gray has.
For those of us with a Gen II Prius, usbseawolf2000 had achieved a very similar two toned look by reupholstering the center console cover and door armrests in black leather (he also added some wood trim): [imglink]http://priuschat.com/forums/attachments/prius-modifications/14086d1239764744-woodtrim-17-rims-woodtrim.jpg[/imglink] And you can complete the look by adding black carpet mats like madeleine did (she also did two tone Katzkins leather): [imglink]http://priuschat.com/forums/attachments/2010-toyota-prius/14288d1240456904-does-leather-seats-pckge-4-really-matter-2-800-extra-prius-custom-entire-interior.jpg[/imglink]
Sorry if I missed this - I was a little confused after the posts on the first page with this picture (http://priuschat.com/forums/members/boo-albums-prius-picture1528-45-10-prius.jpg). Is the Misty Gray interior the only interior that offers the two-tone center console colors? If I got a Silver with Dark Gray fabric interior, would that offer the two tone console as well? Thanks! -Dan
Dan, yes only Misty Gray has that black (or very dark purple) center console, armrests and the rest of the two-tone effect. The Dark Gray interior will have a Dark Gray center console, etc. and Bisque will have Bisque.
Personally, I would wish that the other 2 interior color choices would be two-tone. Especially the bisque leather which is my choice. Only going by the deluge of pictures - appears the Misty gray and Bisque are both very light colors - all around. Perhaps too light? And really feel two-tone accents in the door panels and perhaps console cover (at least) would be more attractive and richer looking. The pics I've seen of some G2s seem to be two tone. Not complainin'...just commenting. Oh - but I do like the wave pattern of perforations in the seating. And from what I've read the grainy patterns on the dash cover. Man, hope this anticipation isn't like planning a trip to Paris and checking out all the web sites and pictures for months. Then you're finally there, and - "wow I thought the Eiffel Tower was taller". Another analogy - seeing a movie star in person. BTW - I was out today and saw a new Camry in Barcelona Red. That was my almost-sure color choice - and now I'm certain of it.
