I'm looking for good all-weather mats before rainy season is upon us and Carbox now has mats for the Prius. Any feedback is appreciated.

Yep. My wife purchased them for me as a gift. Took a long time to get in. But they are worth it and the color isn't too bad (she ordered the tan). It has a nice lip and fits exactly. If you want pictures I can post them.

Here's a site that you can look at pictures of the Carbox installs. Currently I only have pictures of the cargo mat and rear seat mat. I haven't installed the front ones as I haven't shampooed the carpet from this winter. As you can see by the cargo mat it doesn't coverup the tie-downs.

I ordered mine from mats4less.com on 4/8. On 4/11 they said they would ship in 4 to 6 weeks. They shipped on 4/26. Not bad. I should get them any day now.

My plan, maybe a little too belt and suspenders, is to put cheapo carpet type floor mats over/in the carbox floor mats. I think that will be more comfortable on the feet.

I have the cargo mat and the fit is real tight. There's no moving around.

It's kinda rubbery but on the plasticy side of rubber. How's that for a description! Not a rubber mat like my last car. But it's lightweight, easy to clean. Works very well for the cargo mat.

Does make me wonder how this material would be for floor mats. I wondering if you're feet would slip around a lot.

Please let us know what you think when you get them

I just ordered the carbox mats for car and cargo. Now all I need is the car! Might have it within a month. Is that putting the cart before the horse so to speak? I'm going to get the mudflaps first too.

Wow. That was fast. Mine took the whole 8 weeks to come in. They come scrunched in a box. I opened it right away and let them regain their shape overnight. I'm very pleased so far. Can't wait to shampoo the front so I can put the front mats in.

Do they have a nasty smell? I bought some clear ones for my wife's car last year and had to let them air for a few weeks. She didn't want them in her car. LOL! I showed her these and she wanted a set for her car. :)

The clear flexible ones always have a nasty smell. No these didn't have a smell after I let them out of the box and plastic bag they came in. Had to let them regain their shape overnight and no smell after that.

Costco sells a set of four rubber mats that fit the Pri as if they were made for the car. Price is under $20.00.

They also sell a large mat, generally used as entry mats in front of a door. They fit the rear of the car with the seats down. Cost $16.00.

Drash: Thanks so much for the photos and description of the product. I have been looking for this kind of molded lip design for quite a while. They look like a great fit for the Prius. Mine are on order.

    Thanks again. Myron.
