I had bookmarked the link below which has been updated. It looks like the transport trucks are moving loads of 2010's to the ship. tatu???????? - ????????????? Unless those are for dealerships in Japan?
A lot of em are. There's a bunch of them in colors unavailable in Europe or North America. Cool pics nonetheless.
I'm surprised they already have the front license plate bracket on. I hope mine doesn't come like that since our state doesn't have a front license plate.
Some markets have consistant laws across the country and number plates are required front and rear, I suspect these cars are for the domestic market so don't sweat. My numberplate bracket locates in 2 big square holes in the front bar cover.
I was initially concerned about that as well, but there are 2 pics that show what appear to be US spec cars (with the amber reflectors on the sides of the headlights) that have no front plate brackets. All the cars in the pics with brackets don't have the amber reflectors so aren't US cars.
Is the correct term 'chomping at the bit'? Like said before, car sales are down worldwide because people are waiting for the 2010 Prius.
Note the bilateral front side tow rings attached on the cars on the lot, but they look like they were removed on the truck. A change from the single tow ring on the 2G.
It's "Blue Moon Pearl" all over again! My wife would have snapped that color (or the teal color) up. Not sure why Toyota "assumes" that US buyers wouldn't go for some of these colors. Focus groups perhaps?
Great color. Probably will never be available in the USA. Toyota likely thinks that Americans are too boring to actually want a car color different from the herd.
