    1. Seaside Pearl- I just LOVE that color, it is so beautiful.

    2. Silver Pine Mica- I really like the light green very pretty

    3. Driftwood Pearl- I love the beige/sandy color, reminds me of the sand along the beach

    4. Spectra Blue- Love a dark blue car

    5. White- very clean color, although shows dirt too fast

    6. Barcelona Red- a little to bold for me, it does scream look at me, like someone else said and I don't really like that.

    7. Silver- Boring to me, just don't like Silver cars

    8. Black- Hate black cars, had one for a long time, gets too hot and shows all the scratches,

Silver Pine Mica - Green has always been my favorite color and this one is perfect. What makes me like it even more was it was the ONLY Prius available in Washington state when I bought it. I just checked with my Seattle dealer and they have a waitlist of 75 people for the 20 or so cars they MAY get between now and the end of August.

OMG! You guys had a choice of color? When we went to buy ours, the taxi and car rental companies wanted to replace their fleets w/ the Prius, so they scooped up all the inventory in our area all the way up into NYC!
So, we only had our choice of 2. We got the light silver, but I really like the spectra blue!

And we couldn't wheel and deal with the price, either,.....but that's ok....we're still ahead of the game, especially as the price of gas keeps climbing! ;)

    (Hi Michelle....glad you're happy motoring!)

Nope. When I bought mine in 2005 there was 1 Prius on the lot (and only a couple green and silver ones in all of Sacramento). I wanted a white one with grey interior. I walked away with a red one with tan interior. I ended up liking it anyway, kinda like a stray kitten. lol

    3. Spectra Blue Mica / Lagoon Blue Mica / Dark Blue Metallic / Galaxy Blue Mica (8M6)

    4. Super White / Alpine White / Pure White / Glacier White (040)

    5. Barcelona Red Metallic / Vermilion Red Mica / Wildfire Mica (3R3)

    6. Salsa Red Pearl / Regency Red Metallic / Merlot Red (3Q3)

    7. Black / Astral Black / Ebony (202)

    10. Seaside Pearl / Glacier Blue Metallic / Crystal Blue Mica / Blue Mica (8S2)

    11. Driftwood Pearl / Aztec Bronze Metallic / Metallic Bronze Mica / Bronze Mica (4S2)

And I wish I knew what these two intriguing sounding, non-US colors looked like, especially the purple:

070 is also known as Blizzard Pearl, as seen on the current Highlander, Solara, Sienna, Avalon, Venza, 4-Runner, RAV-4, 2007 Camry Hybrid, and the 2010 Prius. There are also other Lexus models that use this color code.

As for my personal favorite, over time, I'd have to say Salsa Red.

Why did this thread come back from the dead? I thought we settled this last year. Black is obviously the best color. ;)

#1 Spectra Blue Mica - the best! Classy, looks a bit ordinary in low light, but look out ... when the sun brings out the sparkle beneath, yum. Looks like a gem under a street light at night

#2 Barcelona Red - Lights up nicely in sunlight

#3 - Magnetic Gray - classy and sophisticated, I prefer color

#4 - Seaside Pearl - Fairly nice when it's clean, kinda like hint of gray in it.

#5 - Silver - Classy but prefer color

#6 - Silver Pine - Kinda nice but too soft for me

    #7 - Black - uhhhh, ok. It's 'bad' , er ... it's tough , it's ... ah nevermind

    #8 - Driftwood Pearl - Wow, where do I start ... eeeek

    #9 - White - it's a ghost !!!

Salsa red is nice, but my silver hides the lack of washing.

I love the Spectra Blue, but I'm very pleased with my car's Seaside Pearl. Reds do nothing for me, the green is, well, boring. Black is nice; white makes me think I have a fleet car; and I've owned way too many silver cars over the last few years.
