Anyone tried a trunk-mounted bike rack?

Don't you carry duct tape in your Prius?

It only takes a second to prevent rubbing by applying a piece.

I couldn't do that for the photo, since it would obscure the view of the buckle.

 

Ken S. I have a 2005 Prius and will be ordering the Coastal Tech Bolt-On Receiver Hitch, to be used for hauling a tandem bike. Which bike rack do you have for your tandem?

My memory is slipping, but as soon as I get home I'll get the brand and post it for you. It's a standard hitch mount...and our tandem does overhang the sides a bit (but within the legal limits).

There are better tandem-only solutions...but since we only haul the tandem once a year and I have to bring a couple of road bikes as well...

Anyway, I'll try and remember to post what brand we went with...and the brand I use when not hauling the tandem. I didn't need two different ones...just had one before I got the tandem.
