I miss the ability to spin my tires up a snowy incline. I also miss the ability to just relax and drive and not always having a visual reminder in my face that tells me I am NOT getting 50+ MPG dammit. I miss the fact that people don't wave at me like giddy little goofballs just because of the car I drive. Yeah, it is all minor stuff. I haven't had the dreaded "I miss my 4x4" yet. I'm sure I will eventually, but when I drove my 4x4, I usually wished I could get better mileage.
I don't really see a reason for an inside hatch release. The reason there is one for the fuel door and hood (bonnet) is because there IS no outside release on them. I suppose if you are in the car and someone needs to put something in the back, it could help in that they wouldn't potentially have to put the thing down to open the hatch if it opened far enough to nudge the rest of the way with their elbow. I did recently see a minivan (Dodge/Chrysler I think) that had a power hatch closer. I presume it opens as well. Just don't whack your kid in the chops opening it from inside the car. ;-)
