Hey, I was wondering if there was anyone from the LA area who got their Prius from a dealer in LA. I'm in the market now and I want a good dealer - any recommendations? I googled and found a few, the most promising looked like http://www.hollywoodtoyota.com Has anyone gotten their Prius from there? I would appreciate some feedback before jumping into anything. Thanks!
We got ours from Toyota of Pasadena and were very pleased with the service that we received. We leased, actually, but got a really good price on an 09 Package 6. If you contact them, ask for Mike Naylor in internet sales. Good luck!
I was in North Hollywood Toyota 2 weeks ago, on the showroom floor they had a Pkg#5 in Silver with rebates, incentives for sticker of $26,400 My salesman a year ago was Eric G. VERY nice man. Check out their internet link. Now is a GOOD time to buy!! Good Luck where ever you end up!!
I got bids on Edmunds.com. I made the dealers contact me and outbid each other. I ended up buying my Prius last year from Hamer Toyota in Mission Hills. But, I could have gotten it about $880 cheaper from Simi Valley if I had just waited for half a day. Also, Santa Monica wants your business. They're willing to deal. I was happy with Hamer Toyota. They also offered a free first-time oil change. Good luck!
This is the latest offering via Costco referral, here in Cypress, for what appears to be exactly the same package and color:
Good point. I used the Costco discount when I bought mine also! Good find Ron. See, I said now is a GREAT time to get a deal, just keep looking!!!
Absolutely Pat, and with the state of Kollifornia about to levy increased sales taxes and car license fees on all of us by mid-year, there should be even more incentive to strike a new car deal now.
Sierra Toyota in Lancaster treated me OK, back in 06. I had some warranty work done quickly with no hassle at Toyota of Pasadena, and they have LOTS of Prius (es?)
Our 05 came from N. Hollywood Toyota and our 07 came from Thousand Oaks Toyota. Both deals were good very sales people were great to deal with. The 05 was bought at MSRP as that was the best you could do back then. The 07 came with $4,000.00 total discount ($2,000.00 on stcker and an additional $2,000.00 from the dealer) Both were fully loaded. Only service has been with Thousand Oaks and they were good.
Purchased my 07 through the Costco program in Arizona. No hassles and a great price. I would highly recommend the Costco program for ease of use and no hassles. My wife's 05 and my BIL's 04 were purchased at Carson Toyota Fleet sales in Carson, CA. Again, no hassles and a great price. PasPrius
We purchased our 05 from Hamer when there was a wait list because they were fair on the price and delivered as promised. Our 07 came from Santa Monica. By then there was no wait list and it was really a matter of convenience and which dealer had the car we wanted. Tried to buy the 07 from Thousand Oaks but they did not have the car on hand; nor offered to look for it.
