2010 Prius Auto Show or Road Show Appearances?

I take it to mean the car is there now and will remain in place through Sunday? Also -- no one will be there to show us the interior? Which car is making the appearance?

 

Any word yet on the N.Y. auto show? Hoping I can see one up close before they start arriving in May.

 

Yes, I believe we placed it in the Toyota space on Monday. It will definitely be there through the end of the show Sunday. It's a Blue Ribbon Metallic Prius with a solar roof (however, I believe this particular unit is not equipped precisely as it will be sold, it might be missing the Navi which is bundled with all SR options), the same one that was at th Chicago auto show. Correct, the unit is surrounded by a rail so you will not be able to get inside to view the interior but depending on the set up you should be able to glance from outside.

While I'm posting, let me also confirm that the Silver Prius V from the Chicago show will be heading to Cleveland for the auto show in March (there the entire show), also closed off for external viewing only. We are trying to confirm more appearances and will let you all know as we have more dates/places set in stone.

Yes, Toyota told me at the Prius Connection NYC event earlier this month that the 2010 Prius will be at the NY Auto Show.

 

Does anyone know if we can expect the Prius at the Atlanta auto show on March 14?

 

Yes, we can also now confirm a 2010 Prius will be part of the Atlanta show as well.

Is there no end to this generosity?

I'm thinking of having an A Priori Auto Show. I'd like the Blue Ribbon Metallic w/ moonroof & solar, the Winter Grey w/ everything and the Chicago Silver (I think it was a V, but I don't know what extras it had). You don't have to have the cars there for the entire show, but I will have the gates open from March 1-9. I'll have a "PC members only" showing on March 1-2. Press day will be March 3 (11am to noon). All proceeds to be split between Fire Engineer and Prius Team (after expenses, that is).

 

And you would expect it to as well.
