FYI; there is a used 2007 Prius on ebay this week that has the Hymotion kit installed. Search Ebay for item 170301796502. Located near San Francisco.
That's interesting. It's being sold by Green Motors in Berkeley. Current bid $20.2K w/4 days left. Wonder why they're auctioning it rather than just set a price and sell it off the lot. They probably think they'll get more for it that way, but I don't think anyone will bid over the reserve, which I'm guessing is around $30k ($20k for the 2007 Prius and $10k for the kit). Update: High bid $24,800 -- still below reserve with 8 hours to go. Don't think it's going to sell. We'll see . . .
It went for 25,600 - so that values the salvage Prius at around 15,000. That seems about right for the Bay Area. Personally I would rather pay 5K more or get an older or higher mileage car without the salvage history.
