I have a 2005 Prius with the JBL setup, years ago I purchased a Kenwood SW1 sub after I had upgraded the door speakers but I have never installed it! I've been thinking I'm about ready to do it finally, I have several threads I bookmarked way back, but none of them have real great pictures associated with them (other than this one, but it doesn't have specific pictures of where the taps are Kenwood KSC-SW1 Subwoofer « the Prius owners group). I've searched a little and have not turned anything up yet. What I'm looking for may not be out there, but I wanted to be prepared to ensure smooth sailings... Looking specifically for some shots on where people pulled power and ground as well as the speaker wires that were used to feed the sub. From what I've read the place to tap speakers is either between the door or under the seat, pictures are always great.... Additionally, I was wondering if anyone has done anything to use a passive x-over on the door speakers to prevent the low bass from hitting those speakers, once the sub was installed and if so, how did that work out? I had seen this thread, great write-up, but most of the pictures are broken. I have sent a PM to the originator of the thread to see if he still has the photos though....maybe he's still around, last posting was in August 2008.
