Does anyone have one? I was wondering if this would work well with the Prius... I currently use the Moto 551 through Cingular and it works great, but the Blackberry has a keyboard which would work better for text messaging and so on -- - -- any thoughts? Thanks for any insight, -Rob {LINK BELOW} http://onlinestoreb.cingular.com/webapp/wc...eFrom=ES_PHONES
Re: Anyone know about the new Blackberry 7100g with the Priu I have a Blackberry 7100t with TMobile and cannot get it to work with my Prius. Otherwise the phone is great.
Re: Anyone know about the new Blackberry 7100g with the Priu I went out to my prius last night and tried the bluetooth connection again and it worked. Select bluetooth on the prius and not "hands free". I have called and spoken with a couple of people and it sounded and worked great.
Re: Anyone know about the new Blackberry 7100g with the Priu Thank you so much for your Reply WeHo guy! Im so glad to hear that it does work. That seems like an excellent choice in phones!
Re: Anyone know about the new Blackberry 7100g with the Priu My 7100 works just fine. Ofcourse am a techno-rookie but it links just fine.
Re: Anyone know about the new Blackberry 7100g with the Priu I have a T-Mobile 7100t and while it works fine with the Prius as a handsfree device, there is no software from RIM to support the Bluetooth profile necessary for transferring the phonebook. According to RIM support, there is no hardware limitation, just no software written to do that. I'm hoping it will be implemented at some point, but you should be aware of this limitation, since there is no manual way to enter values into the phonebook. You can setup 1-touch dialing using various outgoing call numbers, but the numbers sometime are displayed and sometimes disappear on the buttons and there is no name entry to accompany the numbers.
