    I'd buy one if it makes that "balloon farting" noise when the compressed air is used.

    Here's Slashdot's
    commentary on it from 4/4.

    "Interesting post, but the speed conversion has gone wrong way: "20-25 km/h (32-40 mi/h)". ... Thus the correct speed range in miles would be something like 12-15 mi/h."

    Well, it does have a gas engine for higher speeds, like the prius does.

    So if you want to call it an enclosed golf cart, you'd have to call the prius one as well. :)

    It will be interesting to see what develops out of this. Combine this idea with a tweaked version of Toyota's HSD and some of that newer Li-ion battery technology that Toshiba recently announced and you might very well get a quite practical EV.

    Oh booksrats, as a feature of this new technology, the car will come with a finger on the dash you pull to start the vehicle. :lol:
