I did a search and I'm pretty sure this is a new topic, but if not, sorry. I'm curious. If your household has two cars, including a Prius, what's the other one? If you are a prospective Prius owner who will soon have two cars, what's the other one? I'll start: Siliver Prius and 05 Honda CRV
Hi All, Me: 2005 Silver BI, Hubby: 2004 4wd Nissan Pathfinder, light golden beige (he actually uses it off road - go figure...) Stepson & soon to be new driver: 1993 Ford Taurus Station wagon, dark green (boy, will the girls think he is a hottie when they see him tooling down the road in that LOL). I am already working on my husband to get himself a used classic as a commuter car as soon as we can afford it. Take care all, Tisza

Do any of the 5000-plus PriusChat members have a second car older (or rustier) than our 1981 Toyota Tercel? To put this in perspective, until we got the Prius in February, the Tercel was our #1 car. The car we drove to the junkyard was a 1981 Dodge Colt.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(coloradospringsprius\";p=\"80001)</div> We have a 1980 Toyota Corona. My wife now drives the 2000 Camry and the Corona has hardly moved in the 10 months since getting a Prius.
My "second vehicle" is a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Club Cab with the Cummins Turbodiesel under the hood. I also have a 1981 Mercedes 300D that is a tinker toy.

(I don't know why I'm gloating - the Tercel is pretty pathetic, actually.)
Greetings, My wife drives a white 04 Toyota Prius. I just purchased a 2005 Silver Insight. We sometimes switch vehicles. If any one wants a direct comparison let me know. Jackson
We have a 93 red Eurovan and a 2000 Camry. As much as I love my Prius, the Camry has much better seats, IMO...and now that I'm renting a Chrysler I appreciate the silver "baby Lexus" even more.
My wife drives a Ford Escape. Her Windstar died (fried the engine) several months before the release of the Hybrid Escape that I was holding out for. I hate you Murphy. The other vehicle in our driveway is a Ford Explorer with 100 k on it that is used for hauling a utility trailer, pop up tent trailer, and going into the back country on logging roads for fishing and camping.
We had an 88 camry (yes, we replaced the 88 with an 87 if you read my last post) and it was so rusty we had to replace it. I mean more rust than paint. If he hit a pole the whole thing would have fallen apart. The trunk was rusted through, as was everything else under the car. That's what you get for driving in wisconsin in the winter.
I'm still waiting for my Prius to arrive; DW drives a 99 VW Jetta TDI, fueled on B20 biodiesel most of the time. My other car is a 1974 MG Midget...about as low-tech as a car gets.
2005 Prius (traded 2002 MINI Cooper S) 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 hardtop 1070 Oldsmobile Cutlass Vista Cruiser 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 convertible
Hubby drives the '88 Corvette& '90 Nissan pickup, 18-year-old son the '94 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 22-year-old daughter has the'00 Mercury Cougar and the '05 Prius is mine.
2005 Driftwood Prius 1993 F150 PU Plan to keep the 150. It has only been in the shop once -- for a minor repair -- and it took me this long to get it to memorize the route to Home Depot and Lowes. Hate to train a new hauler!
