This site is provided by galaxee. http://60b-lookup.imagespm.info/fra_home.cfm You can look up SRS recall by entering your VIN into the website... Edit: oh opps... ok corrected post
oh, thanks scotty, but that site is actually just for the SRS recall, which only affects 40something Prii nationwide. unfortunately at this time i don't know of any websites where you can look up all applicable TSBs by your VIN.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(galaxee @ Apr 20 2006, 05:32 PM) </div> Hey, yeh, Galaxee, I wanted to check the SRS recall but the damned site keeps telling me my VIN is not a valid VIN ! What am I driving? Chopped liver? Or could this be Toyota's mystical way of telling me my VIN is not affected by the recall?
<_< Good thought... HOWEVER... My '04 VIN begins JTKB22U - not included in the drop-down menu. Since I'm aware there have been SSC's and TSB's on my Prius, why is its VIN series not included?
this is only valid for the SRS recall. it's entirely possible there were no prii with that sequence involved.
You can also email me your vin and I can access my Dealer Daily and see any TSB's or SSC's open for your car.
I did a lookup and it replied with this message: JTDKB20UX67067XXX is not a valid VIN. Please re-enter. (replaced last 3 with XXX) Any idea why? Thanks. --
i found this page... Edmunds.com - Maintenance Popup and also this for the 2004 Prius http://greenhybrid.com/images/news/tsb_gasgauge.pdf
It wouldn't work for me when I tried accessing the site directly from the post in Priuschat. 2004 Prius, vin begins with JTDKB20; prefix is listed in the directory, but I get an error message telling me the vin number is invalid when I try entering the last nine digits. Others seem to have similar problems.
To look up NHTSB recalls and technical bulletins: [ ODI - Office of Defects Investigation ] I just found four on the 2007 Prius. One is on lighting systems diagnostics.
Everyone Please, Please, go to the web site and fill out a complaint. IVOQ - File a Complaint This is who decides the recalls. Enough people complain about the safety hazards it is to drive with your lights not working, maybe just maybe they will recall it. After reading I seen if you already paid to fix your lights you would be reimbursed. So even if your headlight are working now because you paid for them, fill out the form so you can get your money back if they recall it. Thank you
