Hello all! I just picked up my new 2009 Prius today! I got it in gray metallic with package #2. I absolutely love it! I had been planning on buying a Prius for a while and was pleasantly surprised at how spacious the interior is. It's so comfortable! I enjoyed a smooth ride home from the dealership despite the snow. However, I'm disappointed I couldn't cruise around town more. I also had been thinking of waiting for the 2010 model, but unforeseen circumstances (a car accident and subsequent death of my 1995 Buick LeSabre) caused me to purchase sooner than I had intended. But I think it was a good decision. I didn't have a wait for a car - the color I wanted was available - and was able to do a good deal of price negotiation. All in all I am VERY happy! Hopefully I will get some pictures up soon. ~ Jacquie

Congratulations! I got a 2007 in magnetic gray a week ago, very nice to look at. This forum is a great resource. The Prius is very different from my previous cars, the last three were Accords. It's going to be a different animal from the LeSabre, enjoy your adventure. These forums will be a big help and a comfort. Like you, i was impressed and very surprised with the roominess inside the car. I was pleasantly shocked when on a test drive with my daughter driving, i rode in the back and found so much leg room and so much room throughout the car. I had been watching them on the road for a long time and whatever their advantages, i never considered that spaciousness inside would be one.
