Three defects so far in my 2008 Prius

gas meter dose not go all the way full until you hit 12miles because the gas tank is a bag inside of a gas tank in winter it exspands in summer it shirks it takes a while for gas meter to read right /

 

Almost 25,000 on our 08 and it hasn't been back to the dealer for anything. It has the standard Toyota reliability. It's our second Prius and no problems with either. It is going to be for sale soon, but only to buy a 2010.

 

I've read posts similar to this for my differnt makes and models (some reliable, some not) and I always come back to the thought that the people who have issues with thier cars are always more vocal than those who have no problems.

Not that anyone here is whining or lobbying agains Toyota/Prius' by an stretch, but for the most part they seem to reliable. I don't think that any car maker or model can be 100% perfect..

 

If they were all perfect they would cost more.
