Drove by the front door of the local Costco after gassing up. They usually have some new cars sitting there for their car buying service. Usually its an SUV or other high margin vehicle. But today I say a Prius and another small Toyota. Quite a change from the days that dealers didn't even have one on the lot.
Which Costco was it? I saw a Mag Grey(gray?) inside of my local Costco last week. They dont have room outside so they put em inside in front of the tire area.
H St, CV. They have fairly large portico in front of the entrance where they park the cars and carts. The inside is wall to wall goods. No place for cars! And I think it was a gray one, too. I thought that was the most popular color. Maybe they are cancelled orders.
Our local Costco (Irvine CA) has a VW TDI . . . . traitors It didn't look that bad, but the sticker data surprised me. They call it a "clean" diesel, but the particulate/emissions seemed a lot higher than many other cars. Guess that's because it's a diesel. Maybe clean for diesel standards.
I saw one too. That is when I went on my inquiry and search. Dealer was going to sell it for $500 over their so called 'invoice' not a bad price considering that they were not discounting them not that long ago But, in my search, I found mine, low mileage and a very good price, saved another $6k.
