Are there any AUX adapters that DON'T use RCA plugs? I'd like to have something that either ends in a 1/8" plug or failing that a 1/8" jack. The cable run should be no more that 3' (hate trying to stuff 6 - 10 feet of excess cable somewhere) I'd be using this for my XM MyFi, or iPod/iPhone which are normally used in my Miata. I have an '04 Prius with the base radio, no cassette, no CD changer, no nav system.
I can't post a link, but if you go to myradiostore.com and select audio cables under XM accessories and then select 1/8" cables, they have an assortment of lengths. They are a great XM store.
BTDT. They don't have anything that will connect to the 2004 Prius radio. They have stuff for Toyotas, but when you click on the item they are either NOT for the Prius, or are only for the 06-07 model. XM Satellite Radio at MyRadioStore - AUX Audio Input Adapters - Factory OEM Stereos - Toyota
Try reading this thread, lots of discussion on audio adapters for the '04-'05 Prius on the first page: http://priuschat.com/forums/audio-electronics/4595-list-hardware-positively-works-prius.html
Just received an email from Pacific Audio that specifically states that the AUX-BOX does NOT work with my 2004 Prius: The Prius is not compatible with that part. Also, I've gone to the dealers you list but they don't list this product.
