I don't have my Prius yet, but I am making plans for adding video to the car. In reading writeups of XM installs, etc., I noticed that the drawer just below the head unit appears to be DIN sized. Am I correct in my assumption? I ask because I am thinking of mounting a DVD player head unit there to connect to a monitor in the back (Parental Control, Muwha-ha-ha!!!).
It should fit exactly. I put a DIN sized DVD unit in there about a month ago. It is not totally hooked up, but it fits just fine.
