Can I park with snow chains on for a week

    I'll probably need chains to get to airport tomorrow as 25 cm of snow are forecast today and tonight. Is it ok to leave the chains on the car, parked for a week, where at some point the snow will probably be gone? I'm worried about my tires.

    I've got a pickup truck with regular summer tires that I chain up and use for snow plowing. From October to April every year it sits chained up, I've seen absolutely no ill effect from doing so, I would therefore say you should be ok leaving yours chained up for one week.
