blue light

    ~~ When a symbol like this lights up blue when you first start a 02 prius does that mean it needs to warm up some?

    Yeah it means the engine coolant is cold.

    But that does not mean you need to wait before you drive it. It warms up best while being driven.

    It's basically the equivalent of the "cool" side of the coolant temperature gauge in a regular car. There's also a red light for the hot side, now that you want to pay attention too!
