I think not. It somewhat depends on your sales tax rate ("out the door" includes the tax, right?), but $24K seems like it's probably right at MSRP. With the current demand for new cars (very low) combined with the current gas prices (low), you should be able to negotiate a significantly better deal than that. Of course, it's somewhat location-dependent, so were are you trying to buy this car?
I got mine in March when gas was higher than it is now for $22,000 out the door and it is a Package 2. Before tax, title, license, etc... it was $19,947. This is in San Diego.
Thanks sdtundra for the info. That's one of the reasons why I think I should wait. Gas prices are also very low right now.

I think that, if you shop around, you probably don't have to wait. I would find a place that will sell you the car at ~$500 above Invoice (or maybe less) and buy from them. That should be possible now.
