I'm confused about my satellite-ready radio in my 2008 Package 6 Prius. I may have misunderstood that it is "Sirius" ready, but I would rather have XM because I have that in my truck and could get a second subscription for less. The Prius owners manual speaks of only XM radio. Is XM as easily installed in my Prius as Sirius with the right equipment? What would be the right equipment for XM in a Prius? I already have ordered the Sirius equipment but could send it back. This is really confusing! Thanks for any help.
xm and sirius have combined and are one so it makes no difference which you buy. there are threads here on installing either of the radios use search. you have xm so i would call them about the 2 radio discount and what to do.
