I haven't had any problems with valet parking here in LA. In fact, when I ask if they know how to drive the car, they tend to look at me like I've just insulted them. The only place I had a problem was in a medical building in Encino and the woman didn't know where the parking release was.
2005 Salsa Red #6 from Carson Live in Hollywood work in Santa Ana 95 miles a day average 4209.5 miles 44.72 average MPG $1.14 $/mile (includes down payment, ins, fuel, maintenance)
New to the LA group, but not to Prius. Tochatihu, my 2001 entered service Aug of that year. Now at 73k miles. Purchased from (what is now) Power Toyota in Buena Park. Serviced at Claremont Toyota, and they are recommended. Claremont is home, greetings to LeVautRien, and expect to see Widdletink here shortly. I suggest a Prius Picnic somewhere in the San Gabriel Mountains. Mt. Baldy is good too, but it's just out-of-county. Does that matter?
Hi All, First and foremost, thank you to Tochatitu for helping me get in here. I am Tisza a Claremont resident (it is near Pomona and Upland) and am the proud owner of a 2005 Milllenium Silver BI (Package 3 for those who don't know the codes by heart). I am a professional Actress, Children's Entertainer (as "Ellie The Clown"), writer and chocolatier. I work from home but still managed to rack up the miles driving into L.A. and the Valley at least once a week. I bought my car on Feb. 4, 2005 from Claremont Toyota at MSRP. NO WAITING! In fact, they got my car in and called me about it when it arrived, then held it in the "cage" for a week and a half while they tried to trade another dealership for a Salsa (my first choice exterior but I did not like the interior) in my desired package. I think that might be unheard of. When I first saw the car that became mine it still had all it's shipping plastic on it and 2 miles on the ODO. If a meeting is planned, just tell me when and where and I will bring some great eats - Chocolate Truffles or some other dessert. Take care all, Tisza
Hi all I'm Kat and I live in the center of the Valley (the center of the universe to some...). I just joined the club yesterday and would be very interested in attending an event locally. My newmobile is 2 weeks old. She is a lovely Driftwood Pearl, with major leopard accessories inside Ciao.
2005 Black BC - Purchased at Symes in Pasadena -- no waiting list, walked in, bought car, below MSRP! Usually take the Metrolink to work from Covina to Los Angeles. But with the increase in monthly pass in July, it will be cheaper to drive the 42 miles round trip in my Prius!
I want to get this thread back in view since it shows many SoCal PruisChat members that haven't registered for the new LA Prius Group. Oh yes, this time there will be meetings. [Broken External Image]:http://la.calpriusgroup.us/images/stories/sign-up_button.gif
