The most outrageous ice cream that Friendlys ever made was something called the Awful Awful -- A huge (at least to this 10-year old) cup filled with a thoroughly decadent mix of frozen concoction stuff. :thumb: Pure rapture::rapture:
Eggo French Vanila frozen waffles are very good. Kraft macaroni and cheese (not the microwave crap for gawds sake!) can be very satisfying too - don't get the store brand and use real butter. Hot dogs on whole wheat bugs are a good side to have with mac and cheese. Maybe we need a new topic - Food Fight!!!!
I make fabulous vegan waffles -- served usually with a fresh, warm, blueberry topping. Generally every weekend will find me whipping these up! Real maple syrup, of course, or Agave Nectar.
no syrup for me but rather a pancake sandwich one pancake topped by-one egg over medium followed by-one pancake and one more egg on top---lots of butter..... my favorite regards Froley
Doesn't everyone keep a big jar of bacon fat drippings by the stove for cooking? We are pretty health conscious at our house and try to eat all natural.
I was so depressed when the Waffle House near by Aunt's home in NY closed. Just seeing the picture made my mouth water. . . . (Their pecan waffles were to die for.)
Either with pure maple syrup. But I can make home-made pancakes. For waffles, I'm stuck with the microwave stuff. So I guess I vote pancakes.
I can actually agree with that. Having said that, I like my sugar free syrup, with Waffles, and I can't believe it's not Butter, thanks. (cause I has the diabetes...)
If you're talking about made at home, pancakes win hands down. Why deal with all the complications of a waffle iron? :nono:
