Greetings I am a new owner ..Silver w/ PK 6. It was not my intent to buy..I was looking to drive one as they are hard to find here in Southwest Florida. The dealer had one on the lot we drove it ... I was worried as to the pricing..but that came back as sticker only no mark up.. so here I am a new owner..and no waiting. This site is great..lots of info, and great how to's =) looking forward to adding a few things to the car so it can be differentiated from the rest of the generic Prius out there. Bill
Welcome and congrats on your new car, same thing happened to me, I wasn't looking to buy, was in for service on my 4 Runner and walking around the lot killing time and ended up trading the 4R in for a Silver Pine w/PK 6. So far really liking the car for my 60 mile a day commute from the Treasure Coast to WPB each day.
lane:Thanks for the reply! The commutes down here are tough...my second office was in Coral Springs...I do not miss the Alley at all. I am on the west side of Florida all the time now ..I agree the Prius and 50 MPG is Great for commuting!
It's a fantastic commuter car. While conventionals are burning gas in stop and creep traffic, we are scooting along on battery power. congrats!
