Maybe I'm overly paranoid since I just got my MFD replaced under warranty and want to make sure I don't have to do it again out of pocket, but it's 30s-40s here in Connecticut in the mornings and when I turn the car on it almost seems as though the MFD white characters appear to be purple for a few seconds until it warms up, normal?
Perfectly normal for liquid crystals when cold. They can also do strange things when overheated as well.
