Hum in speakers when charging devices

    When I have my MP3 players Ipod or others playing through the audio system if I try to charge them I get a static hum through the audio system. Is there anyway to get rid of this or do I always have to make sure my devices are fully charged before going

    there is a tsb associated with this. its in the tsb forum. print it out and take the car to the dealer. they remove your center console and connect a new inline filter in the aux connection to correct this.

    this should be free if its still under warranty

    Another solution is to purchase an inexpensive ground loop isolator at Radio Shack (or elsewhere)
