It's enough to make a Packers fan head explode - Packers playing at the same time as the Brewers continue their comeback over the Phillies. Am trying to work up some sympathy for Tony. . . (since we may be commiserating soon)
As a baseball fan, this was painful to watch. It was worse than the other Cub playoff losses. Through three games, I never got the feeling for even one inning, that the Cubs were in it. My sympathies to all Cubs fans.
My sympathies to all Cubbies. I blame Boston: they -gave- the Dodgers Manny (even covered his salary!). It would be the ultimate in karmic irony if the Dodgers beat Boston because of this trade.
Go Halos! :whoo: Sorry for the Cubbies thread hijack, but I've been an Angels fan since '71, and a patient and longsuffering season seatholder... ONE MORE WIN! BACK TO CALI!
"Patient and longsuffering"??? Didn't you guys win it in 2002? BTW, I like the Angels. But there are 4 or 5 things about them that I think are kinda bush: 1. Their logo and uniforms. 2. Those Thunder Sticks. 3. The Rally Monkey. 4. That "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim" nonsense. 5. K-Rod's antics.
