2008 MFD photos?

    Saw these photos on a Carmax offering. Listed as a 2008. These displays appear to be different than my 2008. Were they changed at some point or is this another model year?

    From late 2006 to present, the Prius came with two different display interfaces. The base package comes with the screen found in the 2004-2005 models and anything package #2 and up have the newer styled screens.

    Not sure why they decided to do that. I guess they really wanted to differentiate the base from the rest.

    Anyone with a late 2006 and up can see the two different screens depicted in their manual as screens Type 1 and Type 2.

    Models without a backup camera came with the old screen for 2006 and newer models.

    I was once looking at a car listed with Auto Tranny, but the pics showed the Manual stick instead.....Never relied on the pics, they could be messed up all the time.

    Carmax should have listed the car's VIN, just check the VIN for model year instead.

    When I test drove a 2008 base Prius, it had that screen in it. Very low resolution.
