thats where it was removed from, and you know they dont do that unless someone higher up requested it
I would like an IS hybrid. I had a IS250 which delivered 26 mpg. It was a great car, but not a very spacious car. I love the room that I have in the Prius.
I suspect 50 mpg or so is close to what you are going to get with any hybrid coming out the next couple of years. The current Prius is probably as fuel efficient an ICE/battery car is going to get. The next quantum step will be a complete (or near complete) battery car.
you dont need it... with FWD based vehicle, you get more space, its less expensive, more efficient... as original said, they are working hard to get to 40 mpg with 4cly...
Probably and with decent power if they direct injection it. (179hp without on the RAV4). I think it's just a stigma thing that you can't have anything smaller than a V6 but I do think some Lexus folks are rooting for a 4 cylinder hybrid.
i dont think there will be direct injection in AR engines - Valvematic version have more power and economy than previous AZ with direct injection, so I am pretty sure they will be using Valvematic instead of D4 in the future for 4cly engines...
Yeah, I'm not for sure if its for sedan or system. I thought that the HS250h sounds redundant, but I guess I'm not in charge of those decisions.
Why do we assume that the H in HS means "Hybrid". You have ES, GS, IS, and LS - all sedans - all "different form factor" You have SC - a coupe You have GX, LX, RX - all SUV's So.. the HS will be a sedan - aka 4 doors. My bet - a station wagon-esque hybrid utility sedan. 4 doors + a rear hatch.
What else would the H be? ES - Executive Sedan IS - Intelligent Sport GS - GranSport LS - Luxury Sedan You're speculating it'll be along the lines of an IS300 SportCross? Would it work again this time around?
