Originally I wasn't going to get them, but after a few weeks with my new '09 and the cheap "disposable" $10 rubber matts from the department store I might take the plunge. I had the dealership remove the expensive carpet matts since carpet and me don't get along...

Does anyone have the "factory" all weather matts and have any pictures of them in the car? All the pictures I can find online don't show them actually in the car.

    Thanks

I just bought Prius OEM rubber mats on-line. Many readers recommended them The mats fit perfectly have Prius printed on the front set. I don't have pictures but they look like they will be very serviceable in the winter months. The black looks great in the car versus the carpet mats that came with the car.

I have the Toyota all weather mats I just bought for my car. They are black, and even though my interior is beige, they go well with the very dark grey/black of the dashboard. I will take a picture this weekend and upload. I have the same mats in my Lexus Rx330 now three years old, and they certainly are doing their job. Easy to clean, and no sign of wear. I had the carpet ones in the car for a little over a week and already started showing sign of wear around where my right heel rests...

I also have the factory mats. They work very well. I will also try and get a picture of the mats in my car. They keep the dirt from getting on the carpet and are very easy to clean.

Have you considered the WeatherTec Extreme Weather Mats? Perfect fit, easy to clean and worth the price. Maybe a good investment for you in Oregon.

    Search within PriusChat for pictures.

i like how the weathertech have a lip to keep all the water contained. the toyota ones have deep grooves instead and don't do that well of a job. but, i have the toyota ones since they are cheaper. i just have to be more careful.

hello, i have the mats but no pics now. I got the oem ones from a seller on ebay for less than half the cost of the dealer (with shipping). They are well worth it. They fit tightly and cover all of the carpet on the bottom of the fromt floor pans. As a construction worker, they are a must have because of muddy boots. I'd get em, they'll save you time cleaning out the car, and its one less hassle to deal with when its muddy outside.

Does the grey all weathertech liners match the grey interior? Do they look plasticy? I ordered them already so I hope I like them.

Here are the pictures as promised. You can see the dirt trapped in the driver side. The deep ridges and edge do a great job of keeping dirt, snow & water off the carpet[IMG][IMG]

If people get the vinyl mats, I hope they get them from the PriusChat Shop. The prices are good (and are often the cheapest all-in delivered price) and it helps support this great forum.

I believe (but you should confirm if you order) that the all-in delivered prices for the front and rear vinyl mats at the PriusChat Shop are:

    Toyota OEM - $87

    WeatherTech - $110

    WeatherTech Extreme-Duty - $179.90

The Toyota mats fit perfectly, but I've had two sets split in multiple places where the ridges (that create the grooves) meet the flat (that lies on the floor). I'm not at all happy with them.

Do you mean older Toyota mats in cars before the 08 Prius?

I have had multiple sets of Toyota and Lexus OEM floor mats. They all have held up very well. I have never experienced any cracking.

Thanks for all the input, I think I'm going to break down and order them before the weather gets worse for the winter. I've never had a problem with the cheap ones, but they don't seam to fit well and keep bunching up in the Prius. Lesson learned.
