I have two questions about wheelskins:

    1) Does anyone know where's a cheap place I can get wheelskins in Canada? Shipping seems outrageous in most of the stores...

    2) What is a recommended colour for a white Prius? Would black and/or charcoal work well?

    Thanks! :)

Send a PM directly to Danny, he may be able to quote you a better shipping price.

I'm thinking Purple for the color! ;-P

I put a blue/black wheelskin on my blue car, but after I installed it I though I should have matched the interior color instead. you may want to give that a try. Also, I'd recommend black sides to hide the dirt that will inevitably get transfered from your hands.
The wheelskins look and feel great, but they are a bit fragile. Harsh cleaners will take the color off, and they are real easy to scratch.

Out of all the things I have bought from the PriusShop here I think the best was the wheelskin. The car is now a pleasure to drive. The steering wheel is made of such rough plastic. At least it feels that way to my tool shredded hands. When you get it search my old posts as I put up a write up on tips to install and alot of other peeps came up with even better ideas on installation that I wish I had known before hand. But get a kit here asap.Good luck!

I'm thinking a two tone light gray and black would look cool. Also definitely go perforated!!!!

So I've bought a Prius, and installed the Wheelskins.

But... it seems I can't tighten the skin completely (ie. there's a small gap at the seams) (I was stupid enough to do it in the winter, in my unheated garage). Does anyone know if I can redo the skin? Or is it an irreversible process?
