i have never seen so many prii! it was refreshing to see so many running around the city and suburbs. i even managed to get a look at one with a hood deflector installed in gig harbor. if any of you say a weird guy in the back of a a bmw or a crappy subaru waving at you it was me!:bounce:
I agree, we visit relatives there (were from the far eastern part of the state) and it's amazing how many Prii you see! Last trip we even saw several Spectra Mica Blues ( like ours) which we rarely see anywhere else.
The Toyota dealership in Downtown Seattle must've been making a killing. Seems like every other Prius in Seattle sports its license plate frame. BTW, the Orange Cab Prius looks pretty cool.
i didnt see any of those recharging stations. idk how you manage to live in pxd....cant even pump your own gas
I didn't make it as far up as Seattle but I *was* surprised that Oregon, which seems to be an otherwise fairly progressive state, bought into that same no-self-serve idiocy like NJ and a couple of others. Then again when I start saying "slowest fill speed" and explaining about bladder tanks and shakedown to remove trapped air, the attendants generally let me finish off the tank anyways. . In general, one of the metrics of a city/state/whatever's awareness is definitely how many Priii are running around. . _H*
A few years ago, there was a mandate passed that said all Seattleites must trade in their Suburu Outbacks for Prii. :-D
