Leather seat install

    I'm installing leather seats into my 08 Prius. I was told by an installer that if the occupant sensor in the passenger seat is on the surface of the foam, rubber then a heating element cannot be installed on the passenger seat. Is this the case? Is the occupant sensor in the surface.

    Also - I bought the Katzkin kit. How much of a bear is it to install.
