Yeah, they had these pictures out about a week ago. I think the interior is a nice evolution, and I hope those wheel are stock, I would like to get them for mine.
The white car has the current generation sheet metal on it and the black one has the next generation sheet metal. Car companies use the current generation sometimes when they first start testing the cars, and the white one has been seen as far as 8 months ago.
I kind of like the placement of the gear-shift now, wish Toyota would stay consistent. I also prefer the higher, more eye-level screen placement of the current model. Hopefully, they have a much better screen and have spent some money on the graphics - the current ones are circa 1980s and but-ugly - only an engineer could love them. For the money they charge for those, they should be able to afford to improve them.
I'm thinking with those wheels that this is likely the Lexus version of the Prius. Weren't there rumors that the Lexus version may come out before the actual Prius? I still don't like the interior. I feel it will make the car feel smaller than it really is. Mike
Im pretty sure that both the 2010 Prius and the Lexus version will be at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this January.
