    I have a 2008 Prius and am looking for one with a compass/mirror. I am able to unhook the wiring harness that plugs into the rear. Since I'm not a mechanic, I want to know if your mirror plugs in easily behind the mirror? Do you have to do major surgery? Most of these come with thermometers, and of course the Prius has one already. It would drive me crazy if the two thermometers didn't give the same reading. Get back to me, you have exactly what I've been looking for.

    Yes, this would ad Homelink to a Prius that didn't have it already. I installed it on my pkg. 2 that didn't come with the auto dimming homelink mirror. PM me if interested.

    Did you have any issues with the compass not indicating correctly? Wondered whether the Prius electric fields would "mess" with it...

    I have on on order...

    I installed a Gentex compass mirror in my '09 but no Homelink.. The compass is perfect! No issues whatsoever...

    I have two auto dimming / compass mirrors I'd like to install in 2 different Prius.

    Mirror 1 has 3 wires, red, green, black/white. Do you know which wire is power, acc and ground. Wires are from the center of the mirror out'

    Mirror 2, same question, but the wires are yellow, black, green, gray, red/black. Wires are from the center of the mirror out.

    Since Mirror 2 has additional wires, what additional functionality does this mirror have?

    I have a pkg III 2010 that has the solar roof. Is the 50-GENK41A mirror compatible? And can you link me to the manual to see if self-install is possible? Thanks.
